Castle Prestige wasn't always a Japanese import specialist. The story began in 2017 when Tom Lyons left his career as a health club manager to pursue his interest in the motor trade. With support from his partner Emma and her family, he opened a small car forecourt in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Castle Prestige officially took shape in 2018, before moving to Burton-upon-Trent in 2021. That same year, Tom decided to concentrate on Japanese imports, a move that would transform the direction of the business.
Today, vehicles such as the Nissan Elgrand, Toyota Alphard and Honda Stepwagon are at the heart of Castle Prestige. But bringing a car over from Japan is only the beginning. The company has developed its own preparation programme, known as the Japanese Blueprint, covering everything from mechanical servicing and gearbox maintenance to underbody protection, speedometer conversions and updated entertainment systems. Original Japanese auction sheets and vehicle history reports also help customers understand exactly what they're buying.
Much of that work happens behind the scenes. Mitch Lyons oversees vehicle preparation, Daniel Jaggers handles the mechanical side of adapting imports for British roads, and Jack Eastwood looks after the finishing touches that make each car shine. Tom remains closely involved with customers and vehicle sales. Together, the team has turned a small family venture into a specialist business built around Japanese vehicles and the attention required to prepare them properly for UK ownership.

No. BumpyGoat is a marketplace. We show listings from private and professional sellers, but the purchase is always made directly between buyer and seller.
Observed means the profile was created from public information. Claimed means the owner has confirmed that the profile belongs to them. Verified means extra checks have been completed, where available, to improve trust.
It is a quick, indicative reading based on listing signals such as history, consistency and published details. It does not replace a mechanical inspection or legal checks.
We provide context by comparing with similar listings, but the final value still depends on condition, history, location and demand. Use it as a reference, not as an absolute truth.
Check the seller identity, documents and VIN carefully. Avoid paying before seeing the vehicle or without a clear written agreement. If the deal feels rushed, take extra care.
